MOONSPACE
MoonSpace is the home of 42nd Street Moon’s three rehearsal studios, scene shop, costume shop, and administrative offices. Whether you are in need of costumes, space for rehearsals, set building, performances or even private events, MoonSpace and its many amenities are available for rent!
With pianos, kitchen facilities, chairs, tables, music stands, full length mirrors, and a Green Room that can be used as a waiting area or for meetings, MoonSpace is a perfect location for your upcoming projects. We also have eight 4’x6’ mirrors that are on wheels that can be placed (with notice) in any studio you’d like! Proof of liability insurance is required for groups of four or more.

THE BLUE STUDIO
The blue studio is located directly up the stairs once you enter MoonSpace. This smaller studio is wonderful for dance rehearsals, voice lessons and theatre classes and has a keyboard for your use.

THE BURGUNDY STUDIO
Our burgundy studio is located right next to the blue studio at the top of the stairs. This larger studio is frequently used as both a rehearsal space as well as a performance space. Chairs are available to create audience seating in any set up you prefer. This room also has a piano that you are free to use as well as an Artist’s Den which includes a small kitchen and eating area.

THE DOWNSTAIRS STUDIO
Dimensions: 56’ wide x 34’ deep (Artist’s den is included in the measurement )
RATES
The rental rate is $45 an hour, with a 20-hour minimum rental requirement; plus a $300 key deposit fee, refundable at end of rental agreement. Organizations with proof of non-profit status may rent MoonSpace for $40 an hour – minimum hours and key deposit still required.
